Ben Checkowy is a freelance photographer based in Regina, Saskatchewan. Ben produces outstanding digital images which he provides to the client on CD-ROM. Examples of Ben's work is displayed at Aperture Photographics

Since 2001, Ben has operated a private studio near downtown Regina. He has developed and added to model and actor portfolios for clients within Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario.

Ben has provided the event photography for various music events in and around Regina including the Flatland Music Festival, the Regina Folk Festival, Prairie Music Week, Western Canadian Music Awards, Rocking the Valley, and Buffalo Days Grandstand, and for the organizers and a major sponsor of Grey Cup 2003.

Beginning the summer of 2002, Ben has been the official fan and cheerleader photographer for the members-only fan site owned and operated by the Saskatchewan Roughriders, http://www.riderville.com. These photos have been used in various marketing and promotional campaigns by the Riders, including print and TV. Ben is proud that in June 2003, the 2003/2004 Saskatchewan Trailblazer's cheerleader calendar was completed and launched to rave reviews!

The Regina Delta Blues Association is centered here in Regina, Saskatchewan. The group has been in existence in Regina since 1993. They have been incorporated nationally and provincially as a not-for-profit association. Regina Delta Blues Association was created with a mandate to promote Blues and Blues related music and provide education in the Blues genre to the general public and more specifically to their memberships.
